The Sonoma Verde Community Swimming Pool is open for the 2024 Season. The pool hours are 9:00 am to 9:00 am and you must have an Amenity Access Card to get in the gate. Please adhere to all pool rules and report anything you see that is out of the ordinary.

 

Parents - remember anyone under the age of 16 must have someone age 16 or above with them at the pool at all times. Absolutely no glass of any kind should come beyond the access gate.

Come try out a Yoga Class for residents only. If there is enough interest, we will schedule more classes. If you have questions regarding the class or if you need a mat, please contact Michelle Collins. You must sign a waiver to participate; and you may bring your waiver and payment to class with you. Participation fee is $10 Cash or Venmo.

The General Election for the City of McLendon-Chisholm is taking place today at City Hall. Go to the city website for more information.

If you have a preschooler, you are invited to join us for "Toddler Time" at the Amenity Center. We will sing songs, have a story time, color a picture and have a snack. Smo's Mini Donuts Food Truck will be at the Amenity Center from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm today. Stop by and treat Mom to some yummy donuts for Mother's Day Weekend.

Join our Stretch and Relax class for a rejuvenating experience that combines dynamic and static stretching techniques to help you unwind, improve your posture and promote relaxation. All levels welcome to this 45 minute session. Please bring a mat and belt for stretching (or a long towel can be used) and yoga blocks (if you have them). Join our Pilates Fusion Flow class for a dynamic and energizing workout that combines the principles of strength, flexibility, balance and mindfulness. This class is designed to provide a low-impact exercise experience with elements of intensity to challenge and invigorate the body and mind. All levels welcome and modifications will be given. Please bring a mat and blocks (optional). If you have any questions about the class, please contact Lori Shields.

Join your neighbors on the forth Friday of each month at Rosini Vineyards & Winery in the heart of Rockwall County. Rosini Vineyards offers a variety of wines and drinks along with appetizers and meals that you're sure to enjoy. They also feature live music starting at 6:00 pm. This is not a private Sonoma Verde Event. Rosini is open to the public and we are just using this evening as a time to gather with friends and neighbors.
