Total Solar Eclipse

Texas will be an amazing destination for the total solar eclipse! Be prepared to see the greatest sight nature offers, a total eclipse of the Sun. Be sure to get inside the path of totality for the full experience. Simply put, a total eclipse of the Sun is the most beautiful sight you will ever see in the sky. Nothing can prepare you for the amazing sight when the sky suddenly darkens and the Sun’s corona shines in the sky.
A remarkable fact is that the entire metropolitan area of Dallas and Fort Worth, a megalopolis of 7 million people, is entirely inside the path of totality! In fact, 12 million people in Texas reside within the path of totality, by far the largest of any state in the U.S.
The total solar eclipse first enters Texas at the international border at 1:27 pm (CDT) and leaves Texas at the Oklahoma and Arkansas borders at 1:49 pm (CDT). Through Texas, the speed of the Moon’s shadow will accelerate from about 1580 miles per hour to about 1850 miles per hour.
Toddler Time

If you have a preschooler, you are invited to join us for "Toddler Time" at the Amenity Center. We will sing songs, have a story time, color a picture and have a snack. A parent must be in attendance with the preschooler. Please bring your Amenity Access Card with you so you can access the entrance gate.

If you have items left from the Community Garage Sale that you would like to dontate; the Rockwall Helping Hands Truck will be at the Amenity Center parking lot for one hour to take anything you would like give them. This is the only time they have available to come out after our Community Garage Sale to take donations. If this date and time does not accommodate you, you may contact Rockwall Helping Hands directly at 972-771-1655 for more information on donations.
Please do not leave any items at the Amenity Center for pick up; you must deliver in person.

Join your neighbors on the forth Friday of each month at Rosini Vineyards & Winery in the heart of Rockwall County. Rosini Vineyards offers a variety of wines and drinks along with appetizers and meals that you're sure to enjoy. They also feature live music starting at 6:00 pm. This is not a private Sonoma Verde Event. Rosini is open to the public and we are just using this evening as a time to gather with friends and neighbors.
