On Sunday, November 3rd at 2:00 am, daylight saving time will end. That will put us back into standard time and end Daylight Saving Time (DST). When clocks reach 2:00 am local time, they will go back one hour to 1:00 am.

"Election Day" - A day legally established for the election of public officials. The first Tuesday after the first Monday in November in an even year is designated for national elections in the United States, and observed as a legal holiday in many states. We hope that you all will take time to exercise your right to vote in our presidental election this year.

Veterans Day falls on November 11th every year and is largely intended to thank LIVING veterans for their service, to acknowledge that their contributions to our national security are appreciated, and to underscore the fact that all those who served – not only those who died – have sacrificed and done their duty. It's safe to say that we all have known someone who served our country at some point. Take this day to thank a Veteran for their service!

If you have a preschooler, you are invited to join us for "Toddler Time" at the Amenity Center. We will sing songs, have a story time, color a picture and have a snack. A parent must be in attendance with the preschooler. Please bring your Amenity Access Card with you so you can access the entrance gate.

Join your neighbors on the forth Friday of each month at Rosini Vineyards & Winery in the heart of Rockwall County. Rosini Vineyards offers a variety of wines and drinks along with appetizers and meals that you're sure to enjoy. They also feature live music starting at 6:00 pm. This is not a private Sonoma Verde Event. Rosini is open to the public and we are just using this evening as a time to gather with friends and neighbors. You may reserve a table by going to their website at RosiniVineyards.com.

Join us for this monthly workshop for kids ages 4-10 to get creative and make something together. A parent must be in attendance with the kid(s). Please bring your Amenity Access Card to get in the gate.

Thanksgiving is a national holiday in the United States and Canada that celebrates the blessings of the past year and brings people together to express gratitude. The holiday's origins can be traced back to harvest festivals, when both the Pilgrims and Native Americans would give thanks for their bountiful harvests. In 1621, the Wampanoag people and the Pilgrims shared a harvest feast that symbolized peace and goodwill between their cultures, and this event is the basis for the modern Thanksgiving holiday. We wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. For those who travel during this week, we wish you a safe holiday as well.
