Love Tributes in Sonoma Verde
Posted on Feb 13th, 2026

From Sherry to Dutch on Bertino Way:
Dear Dutch, my funny, sweet, comic Valentine,
You make me laugh and hold me when I cry.
You are my smart, kind-hearted, generous, caring husband.
Our life together has been amazing. We’ve traveled to some of the most beautiful and historic places in the world. My Flying Dutchman has led me on incredible journeys, from the tulips of Holland, to the cliffs of Normandy, through the colorful countries of the Mediterranean, and back to the land of our hearts, the USA.
Today, our life together has calmed. This Valentine’s Day will be spent on our patio at Sonoma Verde. We’ll share a bottle of wine and play with our five-year-old grandson. It will be a wonderful Valentine’s celebration, not what it used to be in the past, but perfect.
Thank you, Dutch, for making my life better. Thank you for making me better.
 I love you. ❤️

From Tiffany to Corey on Arezzo Lane:
Happy Valentine’s Day to my mannnn, my mannnn, my mannnn!!!
23 years of togetherness and you still got it, most days! Lol Thank you for being an amazing husband and an even better father. I appreciate everything you do for our family and the way you love us and hold us down! I love you BIG BIG!  15 years of marriage just passed and my heart still chooses you. Every day! Thank you for loving me, supporting me (my big ideas, annual birthday productions for the kids, and my travel planning all hours of the day and night  ), and being a steady foundation for our family. I’m grateful for the way you provide, protect (I use this term loosely), and care for us. You are truly one of God’s greatest gifts to me, and I’m so thankful I get to do life with you. I love you always and unconditionally. -Wifey

From Mallorie to Dave, on Amalfi Drive:
I love you more than coffee on a Monday morning,
more than teachers love a surprise planning period,
and more than kids love a snow day.

I love you more than chocolate, more than sleep,
and definitely more than hitting “snooze” one more time.

Basically… I love you more than all my favorite things combined,
and that’s saying A LOT.

From Ashley to Kevin, on Via Toscana Lane:
Dear Kev, you are everything I never knew I needed and have given me so much joy, bigger purpose, and made my life so much sweeter. We used to say we’d rather live together in a cardboard box than with someone else in a mansion and I still feel the same today.
You’ve given me the most precious gift (outside of our son) of being fully loved and fully known. I love you more today than I did when I married you and I absolutely still like you. Adventure awaits us
Happy Valentines Day,
Ashley

From Joy to Mufuta, on Frediano Lane:
Almost 20 years of knowing you after a simple, “Hi” on Hi5 we still miss the point at times but when we get it, we get it so right!!!
We’ve had ups that felt like mountaintops and downs that tested everything we thought we knew. We’ve faced uncertainty, stress, growth, change, and all the ordinary days in between. And through it all, one thing has never wavered: you.
You have been my constant.
Not constant in the sense of never changing, because we both have grown so much — but constant in your commitment, in your love, in showing up, even on the hard days. Especially on the hard days.
When life felt overwhelming, you stayed steady. When I doubted, you believed. When things weren’t easy, you didn’t walk away, you leaned in. You’ve been my safe place, my partner, the calm voice when everything felt loud.
Ten years have taught me that love isn’t just about the highlights. It’s about choosing each other over and over. It’s about forgiveness, laughter after arguments, holding hands in silence, and carrying the weight together when one of us is tired. It’s about building something strong enough to weather real life.

Thank you for being the man who stands firm.
Thank you for being dependable when everything else shifts.
Thank you for loving me in ways that are quiet, consistent, and unwavering.
A decade later, I don’t just love you, I trust you. I respect you. I admire the strength of your heart and the steadiness of your presence.

This is not just a Valentine’s Day tribute, but an everyday sentiment of you!

From Christine to Brian on Arezzo Lane:
You are my sunshine, lighting every day,
Making life brighter in your own special way.
You make me smile, you make me laugh,
A promise you made, decades ago.
Before we said “I do,” you gave me your word,
That joy would be something I’d always have heard.
And every single day, without missing a beat,
You live that promise and make life so sweet.
You’re a family man, strong, loving, and true,
Helping guide our girls through what teens put us through.
When seasons get hard and I’m ready to bend,
You keep us on track and won’t let us pretend.
You show our boys daily what fathers should be,
A hero in cleats and in life, can’t you see?
To the kids that you coach and the people who know,
You lead with your heart, and it always will show.
You give all your time, you give all your best,
You volunteer, serve, and never need rest.
You are my hero in big ways and small,
My rock, my forever, my heart, my all.????

From Kara to Jim on Veneto Drive:
We met when we were 10. On and off through high school. He left our senior year for the army and went overseas. Lost touch. By the time he came back I was with someone else. We weren’t together when we left. We went on with our lives…got married and had kids but always remained close friends. We got back together in 2024. He moved to Texas from Arkansas and proposed. We are getting married this October!
To quote Sweet Home Alabama:

”Nobody finds their soul mate when they’re ten years old. I mean where’s the fun in that right”

That is exactly what happened. From the moment you came into my life, I felt something settle in my soul. You are my safe place, my home, the calm to my chaos and my best friend. I love you more than anything Jim!
