If you have a preschooler, you are invited to join us for "Toddler Time" at the Amenity Center. We will sing songs, have a story time, color a picture and have a snack.   A parent must be in attendance with the preschooler.   Please bring your Amenity Access Card with you so you can access the entrance gate.

Teens...you do not want to miss this Pool Party and Movie Night just for you! Come to the Amenity Center Pool for Pizza, Sodas, Popcorn, Swimming and the movie "Black Adam". Due to food and planning, you must register for this event by June 5th. We look forward to seeing you all and having a fantastic evening.

National Flag Day is set aside to honor and celebrate the United States of America flag. It is celebrated every year on June 14th. It is celebrated on the anniversary of the adoption of the American flag by the Continental Congress in 1777. This day is celebrated to pay tribute to our honorable flag.

Grab a Dad or a father figure in your life and head over to the Amenity Center. Have an Ice Pop, get your photo made and take a dip in the pool. Let's honor the men in our community that work hard to keep our families going strong! One Ice Pop per person, while supplies last.

Father's Day is observed on the third Sunday of June each year. It honors all fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers and father figures for their contribution to their families. We know how hard the men in our lives work to support their families and we would like to say HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the fathers and father figures in our community. Today...we honor you!

Happy Summer! Today marks the astronomical first day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. June solstice or better known as Summer solstice occurs when the Sun travels along its northernmost path in the sky. This marks the astronimical start of summer in the northern half of the globe. On the day of the June solstice, we get the longest day and the shortest night of the calendar year. Enjoy your official start to summer and the endless nights of fun!

Join this monthly workshop for kids ages 4-10. We will work together on an activity as we spend time with friends. A parent must be present with attendees to participate. Make sure and bring your Amenity Access Card to get in the gate.

 

 

Join your neighbors for a resident Happy Hour at Rosini Vineyards on the 4th Thursday of each month. Rosini Vineyards has wine, drinks and food to choose from and can be ordered at the bar when you arrive.   No registration required, just show up and enjoy time with friends in the community.

Today is National Selfie Saturday. Take some "Selfies" of you, your family or your friends having some summer fun; and send them in to Julie Thomas at Jthomas@ccmcnet.com. We will compile a collage of selfies and post it in the newsletter and on the website.

Every year on June 27th we celebrate National Sunglasses Day. This day is becoming more popular, especially nowadays, as people understand the danger of UV (Ultra Violet) rays exposure. Also, people understand the importance of sunglasses and why we have to wear them. Wearing sunglasses can be a fashion statement, but wearing sunglasses is not only for fashion; sunglasses also protect your eyes from UV rays.

 

Everyone loves a fun and different set of shades, so stop by the Amenity Center office and pick up a new pair of shades and let's make some waves in the pool.

Head over to the Amenity Center for dinner and a movie right here in Sonoma Verde. The food truck should arrive and start serving by 5:30pm and the movie will begin a dusk. This month's movie is The Sandlot. "When Scottie Smalls (Thomas Guiry) moves to a new neighborhood, he manages to make friends with a group of kids who play baseball at the sandlot. Together they go on a series of funny and touching adventures. The boys run into trouble when Smalls borrows a ball from his stepdad that gets hit over a fence." This family movie is rated PG.
