Groundhog Day is a popular North American tradition observed in the United States and Canada on February 2nd each year. It derives from the Pennsylvania Dutch superstition that if a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day and sees its shadow due to clear weather, it will retreat to its den, and winter will go on for six more weeks; if it does not see its shadow because of cloudiness, spring will arrive early. While the tradition remains popular in the 21st century, studies have found no consistent association between a groundhog seeing its shadow and the subsequent arrival time of spring-like weather.

 

Join this group of women in the Sonoma Verde community for a monthly "Wine & Women". Meet at a different home each month and get to know your neighbors. Make new friends, strengthen your relationship and have fun.

Are you a Kansas City Chiefs fan or a Philadelphia Eagles fan? The time has come to get ready for another exciting Super Bowl.

 

Super Bowl LVII is the championship game of the National Football League for the 2022 NFL season. The game is scheduled to be played on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona with the kick off scheduled for 5:30pm central time.

Valentine's Day 2023, also known as Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is an extremely popular holiday that celebrates and honors Saint Valentine and to express gratitude and love to dear ones. We hope you all have a wonderful day celebrating with your loved ones!

President's Day, also known as Washington's Birthday, is on the third Monday of February each year and is a federal holiday in the United States. The day not only honors George Washington (born February 22nd), the first President of the United States, and Abraham Lincoln (born February 12th) whose birthdays are both in February, but honors all the presidents who have served in the United States.

If you have a preschooler, you are invited to join us for "Toddler Time", Monday, February 27th at 10:00am at the Amenity Center. We will sing songs, have a story time, color a picture and have a snack.

 

A parent must be in attendance with the preschooler.

 

Please bring your Amenity Access Card with you so you can access the entrance gate.
