Summer has slipped away as the 2022 fall equinox arrives in the Northern Hemisphere on September 22nd. Astronomically it's the day when the sun crosses the celestial equator heading south. Thus, providing roughly 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness. The first signs of cooler weather should be right around the corner!
